The cageless TWIST toolbox provides space for all the tools and essentials needed for the tour: tire lever, tube, mini-tool, repair kit, pump, or CO2 cartridge. Thanks to the angular design, a smartphone or energy bar can be stowed in the bag.
Highly recommended. Holds the phone securely, easy to clip and remove. Is nice that you can rotate the orientation of the screen. Good tech!
I love the concept. I'm using these on a Tarmac SL7 and love the clean look it has without actual cages. The magnets are strong and keep the bottle tight on the frame. The 800ml bottle is a little smaller than I thought it would be but not a bad size. The bottle is stiff and squeezable. The top is much improved over the 600ml bottle cap. It actually works. I don't really care for the cap that covers the nozzle and will more than likely remove it for my road bike. I think it's more for all the mtbers that use the bottles to keep the dirt and stuff. I would not buy the 600ml bottle again and would buy any of the bottles that have the new style cap.
St the moment this product is unavailable to me as I have a Samsung a12 they should have and option to send in the dimensions of your phone and the name so that they can accommodate all types of people
Would've bought today, but alas, no Note 10+ option. Cheers!
I would love to have ONE for an s10
Glad I upgraded. I just wish they sold replacements for less.
I've had a Fidlock before but this is a big upgrade. It barely fits in my Transition Sentinel large frame. The additional capacity means I don't have to carry any more weight on my back and can get by on most rides with just this bottle. The dust cap cover makes a big difference with dust and mud caking the cap.
The twist off functionality is really good for low space/clearance front triangles. This barely fit with a frame strap & tube/Co2's etc. But it works cleanly and isn't cumbersome like a traditional cage would be. I'm surprised at how well it works for how little space I have.
The magnetic connection is solid even with this large bottle. I've had a couple crashes, ran through jump lines, the pump track, it hung on no problem and no rattles or noise while riding. It stayed in place while rally driving washboard/potholed dirt roads in Idaho.
Great product, easy to use and holds the phone securely. Highly recommended! Planning to purchase another one for my other bike.
Great product! Stays glued to the frame and decent dirt protection.
great addition to any bike, especially for long rides. It takes a bit of practice to get the bottle back on at speed, but once you do it a few times, you will wonder why this has not been done forever.
I received the Fidlock 600 bottle and connector as a gift for my new bike, but found that the larger bottle was slightly too tall and interfered with the bike's rear shock. The smaller 450 size is a perfect fit. I am really impressed with the locking system and I can't wait to use it on the trail where regular bottle cages can sometimes be a challenge when removing and re-seating the bottle while riding. I am also interested in some of the unique storage bag options, especially if they work as well as the bottle mounts do.
The cage piece is great but the straps are not very good. The straps that come with this are unsightly and not very secure so my bottle would move a bit on every ride. I found some new straps online (nano straps by Voile) that made this perfect - looks clean and is now very secure.
Very cool to see that Fidlock offers individual components for their products.
I purchased many time ago the twist bottle and overall the system is fantastic but the bottle it was a little hard and didn't have cap but the new one is perfect in size more queeze with upper cap, now I only worry about fill it up and get a ride
Best water bottle for mtb. Slick and well designed.
